1970 Omega Speedmaster 145.022-69 Pre-Moon Tropical Brown Dial

Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Professional

145.022-69 reference cal. 861

296046XX serial number circa 1970 production with pre-moon caseback.

Excellent vintage condition case with very sharp case with minor signs of wear.

Dial is in excellent vintage condition, step, tritium. The dial has an obvious chocolate brown hue to it which is clearly evident in direct sunlight as well as in shade. I took pictures of the watch in two different environments. Some are outside in the shade without any direct sunlight, another set in the sun, outside.

The pictures were taken during the day, outside, in natural light. No artificial lighting or camera flash used.

Origianl Dot Over 90 bezel

Caseback stamped 145.022-69 inside. Hippocampus engraving is very legible on outside.

Watch comes on original Omega 1039 bracelet with 516 end-links and dated ’71.

Watch winds smoothly, runs, chrono runs and resets back to zero as should. Service history is not known. Timegrapher showing -30 seconds per day with ~280 ampltiude.
