Up for grabs is an F.P. Journe Octa Calendrier
Reference Q with platinum, 40mm case
This extremely attractive and exceedingly rare piece is part of the Black Label collection. With about 4-5 allocation per year, per boutique, across ALL models, you would be hard pressed to find any other examples online, yet alone for sale.
The Calendrier was in production between 2004 and 2015 and features an annual calendar function with retrograde date display. Don’t forget these were made during the time when you could walk into an FPJ authorized dealer or boutique and pick out just about any watch you wanted, where they sat on display for years sometimes. So, even though an 11 year production run sounds like a long time, there were not too many of these watches made.
The absolutely stunning matte black dial contrasts well with whitened silver date track and subdials, making this watch specific model and variation one of the most attractive Journes to have been made.
The watch shows minor signs of wear in form of surface scratches.
This examples comes on genuine FPJ alcantara calf strap with white stitching, further enhancing the black and white theme. The buckle is signed and made from platinum.
This watch comes complete with FPJ boxes, Calendrier manual, and warranty card dated in 2010 at time of purchase.
