Vintage Rolex Sea-Dweller ref. 1665 “Great White, Service Replaced Case”

Up for grabs is a Rolex Sea-Dweller

Reference 1665 with acrylic crystal

4.4 mil serial number case, meaning it is a Rolex service replaced case. Unfortuantely, there is no way to tell what the original serial number and what year it was from.

The case is in excellent and mint condition without any signs of repolish. Fully legible numbers.

The dial is a service replacement tritium dial with very attractive dark cream patina on plots and hands. The date disk is original with open 6’s and 9’s.

The bezel insert is a service Rolex replacement with luminova “pip”

The caseback is original from the 1970’s/80’s “Great White” 1665

The bracelet is Rolex 93150 with Sea-Dweller 585 ends, 12 links, U date code, and tight condition. If we assume that the case and dial were replaced during the same time as bracelet, then all this was done in 1996, the date code of the bracelet.

No box or papers. A perfect daily wearer with modern attributes and vintage look and feel.
