Up for grabs is a Rolex GMT-Master in steel and yellow gold

3.0 mil serial number circa 1971 production

The watch just came back from a “spa treatment” by LA Watchworks which included a new crystal, case restoation/vintage polish, new bezel retaining ring, gaskets, and pressure test. No service of the movement was performed.

Excellent vintage condition case with thick lugs and fully legible numbers.

Dial is original, matte, applied logo and nipple “Root Beer”. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s. The hands are original, but the lume was missing and partially missing when the watch was found. LAWW has relumed the hands with non-lumlinous lume to match the color of patina on the dial. There is light staining on the dial if you check up close macro pictures.

Caseback is excellent, stamped 1675 and II.71

The watch comes on a vintage blue alcantara strap with Rolex yellow gold plated buckle.

No box or papers. The watch winds and runs at -5 seconds pet day.
