1940’s Vacheron Constantin ref. 4298 “Fancy Lug, 32mm, Box & Papers”

Up for grabs is a Vacheron & Constantin dress watch

Reference 4298 in 18kt yellow gold with 32mm case excluding crown.

This watch should date somewhere in late 1940’s production

Excellent condition watch with thick lugs.

Dial is original, champagne with chapter ring. Non-luminous with original hands. No refinish.

The watch was found in non-running condition so it was serviced prior to going up for sale and is currently in fully operational condition.

A very rare find of such watch with original VC box and papers with matching numbers and mention of model number. Movement and case numbers both match.
