Up for grabs is a Rolex Oyster “Army”
3139 reference in steel, about a 31mm watch
245,XXX serial number circa 1943 production
Superb vintage condition with very sharp and defined case appears to have never been polished. Original brushed finish on sides. Original “patent oyster” screw down crown.
Dial is original with Arabic numerals and gilt minute track and text. Gilt hands withe Mercedes Hour hand. Dial still remains glossy.
Caseback is original, stamped with serial number and a personalized engraving. Inside is stamped 3139.
The watch winds and runs and has been recently serviced by ABC Watchwerks by previous owner. Receipt will be included with sale.
