Up for grabs is a Cornavin Diver
This watch was made in 1950’s and the exact year of production is difficult to establish but the paten for it was made in 1953 while the company went bankrupt in 1959
The case is made of stainless steel with an unusually large for this time period, 42mm case excluding the crown.
Dial is original, matte black with an anchor logo, instead of more commonly seen AMF logo.
Caseback is original and well preserved. The serial number “344” is still intact as most of these have worn or polished off. The inside is sterile, as should be.
Original movement.
The watch comes on NATO style strap.
The crystal shows crazing/fractures around the edge.
