Up for grabs is a Tudor Oyster Prince 34
reference 7909 with 34mm steel case, automatic movement
141,XXX serial number circa 1955 or so
Excellent vintage condition case with thick lugs. The serial and reference numbers are printed on outside of caseback during this period on Tudors, so there is nothing between the lugs.
Dial is original, with gilt dagger shaped markers and chapter ring. No refinish, no relume. The dial has a cream color from age. Original sword shaped hands with radium. The Seconds hands has a broken tip thus is shorter than it should be.
Crystal is high dome.
Caseback is original with clear numbers.
Original Rolex winding crown with Brevet sign.
Bracelet is a Rolex USA C&I Rivet with ’71 date, so it was replaced during this time on this watch.
