1957 Rolex Explorer ref. 6610 w/ Tritium Matte Service Dial

Up for grabs is a Rolex Explorer

Reference 6610 with 36mm case

268,XXX serial number circa 1957 production

Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs. The numbers have wear from a bracelet, but still legible.

The dial is later tritium service replacement with matte finish. Nice yellow patina throughout.

The caseback is original, stamped 6610 and dated ’57 inside

The watch comes on a leather strap with steel buckle.

No box or papers. According to the previous owner, the watch was serviced in 2023 by Greg Petronzi and a true dome crystal was installed.
