Up for grabs is a Patek Philippe Calatrava in 18k yellow gold
Reference 2572 with manual wind cal. 10-200 movement, 36mm case.
The original Patek guarantee is dated in 1958
Excellent condition watch without dings or dents or deep scratches. Nice and crisp hallmarks on lugs.
The watch was found and comes with some extras, I’ve decided to keep them all together, especially since it documented.
The original dial, which is silver, is currently installed in the watch. There is a service receipt from Patek from 2008 which states they swapped the dial back from the blue one, which I am also including with the sale. The guarantee confirms that the silver dial is indeed original to the watch. It is an assumption that the previous owner purchased a loose blue dial and was wearing it that way. The service paper also indicates a purchase of a new black alligator Patek strap. The strap remains unworn and is also included mounted with original Patek 18k gold buckle.
The watch evidently remains unworn since the 2008 service by Patek as the caseback sticker is fully intact shows no sign of wear, neither does the Patek strap, its not even “broken in”
The watch also came with this very detailed and beautiful 18k woven bracelet. It is removable of course. Even though there is a Patek logo on the outer clasp, I do not believe this bracelet was made by Patek, as there are only 18k gold hallmarks on inside, but should have PP&Co or PP stamp as well. So, I think its just a very nicely done on on the clasp and the bracelet is too beautiful and intricate to discard or sell separately. It fits about a 7.25″ wrist I would say including minor adjustment on the clasp.
So, what you get is the watch, bracelet, unworn Patek strap, extra genuine Patek blue dial, original warranty paper and service receipt. No boxes or other accessories.
