1960 Rolex Day-Date ref. 1803 “Non-Luminous Dial, Japanese Market Bracelet”

A very nice example of early production 1803 in yellow gold with rosy patina throughout.

Strong and sharp lugs with clear numbers between the lugs.

Original non-luminous “swiss” only dial with original non-luminous dauphine hands.

Excellent and sharp early fluted bezel with rosy patina.

Very sharp and well-preserved caseback. The cal. 1555 movement still has its original “butterfly” Rolex rotor.

The bracelet is in extremely well-preserved condition with sharp coronet on clasp. No signs of restoration or retightening of the links. The clasp and some links have beautiful rosy patina. Clasp is marked “Made in Japan” for Japanese Rolex market.
