Up for grabs is a Rolex GMT-Master in steel
1675 reference
623107 serial number circa 1960 production
Excellent vintage condition case. The lugs are thick and clearly show original chamfers. The watch shows sign of being worn, but no refinishing. PCG’s are crisp and sharp. There is bracelet wear between the lugs, you can see the top of the original numbers and can make out that its a 1675 obviously, the serial number also top parts of numbers are original, while the rest of them were touched up in an effort to preserve.
The dial is very attractive and original chapter ring, swiss only, with lacquer having to spider all over and turn caramel brown throughout. All lume is original and intact on plots. Hands appear original with mini GMT hand and original lume.
Bezel insert is a very attractive faded Pepsi fat font
Caseback is original, stamped 1675 and IV.60 inside.
Movement is original, with original and correct butterfly rotor.
Watch comes on distressed vintage leather strap in unworn condition. I also have a Rolex Swiss 7206 rivet bracelet I can offer for the watch for additional $1500, but its a ’69 date stamp.
No box or papers and no documented service history.
