Up for grabs is an Omega Seamaster 300
Reference 2913-8
Serial number dates this watch to 1961 production with Omega Extract of Archives matching everything and showing delivery to Peru as point of sale.
Very good vintage condition case without any pitting or corrosion as often observed on these.
The bezel is original, bakelite has partial deteriorated from age but some of it still survived.
Dial is original as are the hands with lollipop seconds hand, which is period correct. The watch still shows high radium Geiger readings.
Caseback is original, stamped 2913-8 inside
Bracelet is also original and often times taken off these watches to put onto a more expensive Speedmaster 2998. It is a reference 7912 with number 6 end-links. Clasp is dated 1961 and matches the watch. If you are familiar with vintage Omegas, then you will know what these bracelets sell for on their own, especially with 6 ends.
The watch is accompanied by the Omega Extract or Archives.
