Up for grabs is a Rolex DateJust in 18kt yellow gold
1600 reference with factory smooth bezel
700k serial number range circa 1961 production
Excellent vintage condition case with thick and sharp lugs. Serial and reference numbers are intact and recognizable.
Dial is original, SWISS only pie-pan with “tropical” aging from campagne color to a more of a burnt orange hue. Original dauphine style hands. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Caseback is original, stamped with Rolex and 18kt gold hallmarks as well as double stamped 1601 and 1600.
Bracelet is a Rolex president made in the South American market. Moderate stretch from use as seen in pics.
