1961 Rolex Day-Date 1803 in 18kt Rose Gold “President” w/ RSC Records

Up for grabs is a Rolex Day-Date in 18kt Rose gold

819,XXX serial number circa late 1961 production

Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs. Serial and reference numbers are clearly and fully intact.

Dial is Rolex pie-pan with rose gold markers and hands. Replaced by Rolex during service in 2000 as indicated by receipt included with watch.

Bracelet is original, early version with big Rolex crown on clasp. Moderate stretch for its age. Dated 4/61 on clasp.

Caseback is original, stamped 1803 inside with gold and Rolex hallmarks.

The watch comes with Rolex Service Center records from year 2000. The service record clearly states the parts which were replaced are rose gold. Apparently the owner used to have an aftermarket diamond dial on the watch, which was replaced with Rolex original dial in white.
