Up for grabs is a Tudor Submariner

338,XXX serial number circa early 1961 production

Excellent vintage condition case with thick lugs and pointed crown guards. Clearly factory chamfers on lugs. Visible numbers between the lugs. Corrosion or pitting.

Dial is amazing caramel brown tropical with full lume intact. No relume, no refinish. Original gilt hands with big bubble. Factory original lume on hands has aged to dark color as happens sometimes.

Original bezel insert with “long 5”.

Caseback is original, stamped I.61 inside.

Movement is Cal. 390 with “ROW” on bridge in running condition.

Original twin-lock Rolex crown.

Watch comes on unworn leather strap. No box or papers.
