1962 Omega Speedmaster Pre-Professional ref. 2998-6 Cal. 321 Straight Lug

Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Straight Lugs

2998-6 reference

184194XX serial number circa 1962 production and very correct to 2998-6 reference.

Excellent vintage condition case with no dings or dents or corrosion.

Dial is original, correct with original Alpha hands. The lume on the hands has aged to different color from dial.

Original DON bezel with great fade/aging

Caseback is excellent, stamped 2998-6 with crisp Hippocampus on back.

Bracelet appears original, 7912 with “6” ends, 4.61 date stamp with 10 total stretchy links and  23 total links to fit a large wrist.

The crown is original with Skinny logo.

No box or papers. No documented service history. The chronograph runs and resets. The appears to be in all original condition and is a great example.
