Up for grabs is a Rolex DateJust in steel and gold

908,XXX serial number circa early 1963 production

Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs. Clear numbers between the lugs. Practically no damage from bracelet between the lugs, which indicates low frequency or wear.

Dial is original and flawless SWISS only, which is period correct. No damage, no chips, no lume loss. Original and period correct dauphine hands with matching patina to the dial. Original date disk.

Excellent and sharp original fluted bezel is damage free.

The watch comes on USA oval link Jubilee bracelet with big logo clasp. This is probably the best condition USA Jubilee I have ever seen. There is practically no stretch and these are pretty much always stretched. There is also no signs of this bracelet being tightened. You can see there is not damage or tool marks on inside of the links.

Caseback is original, stamped 1601 and dated I.63. There are no service marks inside at all, which indicates no past intrusion.

The watch comes complete with Rolex boxes, original COSC certificate with matching numbers and original guarantee booklet with matching number, COSC hang tag, and twin lock crown manual.
