Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner in steel
5513 reference
997,XXX serial number late 1963 production
Excellent vintage condition pointed-crown-guard (PCG) case with very thick lugs and original chamfers. PCG’s are sharp and even. Serial and reference numbers are clearly visible and fully intact.
Dial is in excellent and damage free condition, “SWISS ONLY” without chapter ring. Dial is still glossy but starting to even matte. Very attractive patina on plots and hands.
Bezel insert is a very attractive and original ghost Long 5
Caseback is correct and original, stamped 5513 and III.63
Bracelet is original Rolex 7206 with spring-loaded links, 80 stamped end-links, fully linked at 13 links. Date stamped ’64 on clasp. Excellent, tight condition.
No box or papers. No documented service history.
