Up for grabs is a vintage Glycine Airman

24-hour dial version with GMT hand and rotating 24-hour bezel

This is a 36.5mm watch exclduing the crown

609,232 serial number circa late 1964 production as confirmed by Glycine Heritage Department.

These models with the earlier 600K serial numbers are from 1964 just after the merge with Montres Altus SA and the case-backs were still screw-in style without logo on dial – just like the late ’50s and early ’60s Airman models. The Glycine crown logo was introduced in 1965 but applied in Airman models only from 1967 and onwards. The push-in style caseback came with EPSA compressor cases which are also in later models than this one.

This version has cal 1700/1 automatic movement.

The case appears unpolished or close to it, with very sharp and defined lugs.

Bezel appears unpolished, in excellent vintage condition.

Dial is original, damage free. Original red date disk. Original crystal with square date window.

Caseback engravings are clear and serial number is fully intact and clearly visible.

Watch comes on Army green NATO. No service history, but runs well and functions.
