Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster in steel
105.003-63 reference, a very rare sub-reference of 105.003’s only being produced with about 5000 Omega serial number range, whereas the -64 and -65, for example, are produced within time period of over 2 million serial numbers.
205225XX serial number correctly aligning within range of -63 sub-reference
Nice strong case with thick and defined lugs. Skinny logo crown. Pushers appear original.
Dial is original, applied logo, tritium, nice patina. It is slightly turning brown as you can see in macro pictures, but I do not want to call it “tropical” yet.
The bezel is original DON with great fade. Looks blue under certain angle and lights but otherwise just a nice gray ghost.
Caseback is original with clear Hippocampus and stamped 105.003-63 inside.
Bracelet is original Omega 7912 dated in 1964. Both end-links are original 6’s. bracelet is fully linked, fits a large wrist, no dents or dings. No stretched out links.
Crystal is Omega hesalite with logo in center.
This rare reference also comes with its original Omega boxes and warranty papers from Naval Exchange with matching numbers to the watch.
No service history is known, but the watch and chrono functions as should.
