1965 Omega Speedmaster “Ed White” 105.003 Straight Lug Pre-Moon Cal. 321

Reference 105.003 “Ed White” straight lug

220877XX serial number circa 1965 production as noted on Omega Extract of Archives.

Excellent vintage condition case with sharp lugs. Only the cases from -64 do not have the beveled edge on lugs from the factory, so this is a nice strong case. No major dings or dents. No corrosion or pitting. 

Dial is original, tritium and period correct. Most of the luminous material is gone, the hands are luminova service replacement. The dial’s color has turned to a light brown as you can see in pictures. 

Bezel is newer service replacement, but genuine Omega part. 

Caseback is period correct, stamped 105.003-64 inside. The outside is engraving is excellent and crisp. 

Watch comes on unworn vintage leather strap with steel buckle. 

Watch comes with Omega Extract of Archives confirming the movement to its case as well as showing original destination in Singapore and production date. 

No box or papers. No documented service history, but watch runs well and chrono functions as it should.
