Up for grabs is a Rolex Tudor Submariner
7928 reference
506,XXX serial number circa 1965 production
Excellent vintage condition case with very fat lugs with original chamfers. No corrosion or pitting. Serial and reference numbers are very clear and fully intact. Original twin lock crown.
Dial is fantastic gilt chapter ring with silver print which has aged to a very obvious chocolate brown color. Very attractive inside and outside. All pictures were taken in natural light, outside, with overcast skies. No flash or other artificial lighting. Nice yellow patina on plots and hands. There is paint loss on very edge of dial around 2 oclock which is hard to notice due to color.
Fantastic faded ghost “Long 5 and Kissing 4” bezel insert.
Caseback is original, stamped 7928 and III.65
Bracelet is a Rolex 93150 with 580 ends, 12 links, diver’s extension.
