242249XX serial number circa 1966 production
This is an amazing one-family owned watch which I sourced from original owner’ son. After the father passed, his son wore the watch for a while, eventually switching over to a more model Rolex Sub. This watch was sold to me exactly as you see it here.
The case is in excellent and unpolished condition.
The dial is fantastic with yellow patina on plots and hands. There is no relume, no refinish and no damage.
The crystal is original Omega with logo in center. It has “crazed” from age and wear. I believe this is an original crystal as born with the watch.
Bezel is in excellent for its age condition and is correct MK6 configuration with stick “1”
Caseback is original, with clear engraving on back. Stamped 165.024 inside.
Bracelet is original and rare Omega 1506 with falt links and “16” end-links, It is dated in 1966.
There are no boxes or papers. If you plan to wear the watch on regular basis, I am happy to include an OEM Omega crystal.
