Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch
105.012-66 reference
254460XX serial number circa 1967 production
Excellent vintage condition case appear to be unpolished with minor signs of aging and wear in form of small dings and scratches. Sharp and defined lugs and corners. No corrosion or pitting. CB case unique bevels on inside of the case are sharp and defined.
Dial is original, applied logo and step. Excellent and damage free condition. The luminous material appears to be original, tritium, and has partially flaked off in parts but still presents an attractive, patina’d look of the dial. The hands are period correct and probably original. They have been relumed to match the patina of the dial due to flaking and cracking in tritium.
Original hesalite Omega crystal with logo in center.
Bezel is original, “dot over 90 (DON)” and is in very good vintage condition.
Caseback is original, stamped correctly 105.012-66 CB inside with nice outer engraving.
Bracelet is an Omega 1039 with 516 end links and fits about a 7.5″ wrist. Dated ’68 which I believe is period correct and very often seen for bracelet to be 1-2 years ahead of the head age.
No box or papers. No documented service history. The watch runs smoothly, winds smoothly, chrono runs, stops, and resets.
