Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Pre-Moon
105.012 reference caliber 321 movement
249557XX serial number circa 1967 production as noted on Extract of Archives.
Excellent vintage condition without any dings or dents. Appears to have original finish and unpolished.
Winding crown is period correct and original with wide logo, but 32 teeth, which is correct for 60’s models. The pushers are original.
Dial is original, “Close T” in excellent vintage condition. No scratches or chips. No relume. This dial is signed MEISTER, which was a retailer in Switzerland during this time period. Seldom seen, especially in this reference. Hands appear to be original to the watch.
The watch was found with heavily scratched crystal and was replaced with Omega hesalite OEM one.
Bezel is DON in excellent vintage condition with some signs of wear.
Caseback is original and is in excellent vintage condition. Hippocampus is very clearly stamped on outside and inside is stamped 105.012-66
Bracelet is an Omega flat link reference 1039 with 516 end-links. Fully linked and fits a large wrist 8″+
The watch has just went through a service and runs well with chronograph functioning correctly.
No boxes or papers.
The watch comes with an Omega Extract of Archives confirming the dial to be original to the watch and showing it was retailed by MEISTER in Zurich
