1966 Omega Speedmaster Pro 105.012 CB Case Pre-Moon

Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Professional Pre-Moon

105.012-66 reference 

254460XX serial number circa 1966 production

CB case with beveled inner lugs

Excellent vintage condition case without any major dings or dents. Lugs are nicely defined, the bevels are still clearly defined on inner lugs, which are unique to Central Boites (CB) cases. No corrosion or pitting. Case is possibly unpolished. 

Dial is original, applied logo in good condition. Most of the luminous material is gone form the dial. The hands are service replacement luminova with period correct Spear chrono hand. 

Hesalite crystal with Omega logo in center.

Bezel is original DON and has faded to a brown/purple hues. Bezel shows signs of agin and wear. 

Caseback is in excellent condition with crisp engraving of Hippocampus. Inside is stamped 105.012-66 CB

Watch comes on unworn vintage leather strap. 

The watch winds smoothly and runs. Chronograph engages, runs, stops and resets back to zero. No service history is known.
