Up for grabs is a Rolex DateJust in steel

Reference 1603 with steel machined bezel

1.4 mil serial number circa 1966

Excellent vintage condition case with sharp and thick lugs. Clear numbers. No corrosion or pitting.

Dial is a newer service replacement matte black dial. Probably swapped during a service in the 1980’s based on typography. No refinish, no relume.

Caseback is original. Stamped ’66 inside.

Bracelet is a Rolex 7836 Oyster with 82 ends, ’71 date on clasp and fully linked with 13 links.

No box or papers. No documented service history.
