Up for grabs is a Rolex Day-Date in 18kt yellow gold
1803 reference
1.4 mil serial number circa 1966 production
Excellent vintage condition case with thick and sharp lugs, has previously been polished. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible.
Dial is original with diamond markers. The dial is a very attractive and unusual brown in color and appears to have gold “flake” in it and perhaps used to be more of a burgundy color? No refinish and no relume. Diamond marks are factory.
Caseback is original, stamped 1803 inside with Rolex and 18kt hallmarks.
Watch comes on unworn light tan vintage leather strap with gold plated buckle with Rolex crown.
No box or papers. No documented service history.
