Up for grabs is a Rolex Explorer 1
reference 1016
1.49 mil serial number circa 1966 production
Excellent vintage condition case with thick, even and sharp lugs. Serial and reference numbers are clear and fully intact. No corrosion or pitting.
Dial is original, gilt with glossy finish. The outer edge of the dial has matted and most obvious on the right side of the dial. There lume is original with nice patina on hands and dial. There is no man-made damage on dial and only natural aging/degradation over time.
Caseback is original, stamped 1016 and VI.66
Bracelet is Rolex USA Jubilee and was found on the watch, so should be original to it.
No box or papers.
