Up for grabs is a Rolex GMT-Master
Reference 1675
1.43 mil serial number circa 1966 production
This is a rarely seen so-called MK0 variation. It uses same typography as late gilt dials on GMT, but are done in matte. It is only correct for a short period of time in 1.4 serial number range before the switch to more common MK1 “Long E” dial. A mini-GMT hand is also correct for this dial and contributes to originality.
Case is in excellent vintage condition without pitting or corrosion. Clear numbers between the lugs.
Dial is original, damage-free. Correct “green hue” lume with phosphorus in compound as it should be in mid 60’s Rolex. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Bezel is fat font with red back
Caseback is original, stamped 1675 and dated II.66 inside.
Bracelet is a Rolex USA C&I dated 1978.
No box or papers.
