7928 reference
569,XXX serial number circa later 1966 production
Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs and crown guards. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible. No corrosion or pitting.
Dial is original, glossy with silver print. These lacquered dials are uncommon, but are period correct and original. There is nice even patina on plots and matching hands. The lacquer on dial has “spidered” from age and there is fading on bottom half of the dial.
Bezel is original, Long 5 and is period correct. It is cracked at 12 o’clock but still secured well.
Caseback is original, stamped 7928 and VI.66 inside.
Watch comes on unworn vintage leather strap with steel buckle.
