Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner No-Date
5512 reference, matte Meters First 4-line dial
1.81 mil serial number circa late 1967 production
Excellent vintage condition case without major dings or dents. Case has been polished, but original chamfers are still visible. Serial and reference numbers are clearly and fully intact. Original twin-lock winding crown.
Dial is original, flawless condition, Meters First. No chips, scratches, drag marks, etc. All lume is fully intact with nice yellow cream patina. Hands are original, tritium, appear a shade darker under certain angle and light. Dial and hands still glow after being exposed to light. This is period correct and original. No relume and no refinish.
Original and mint condition bezel insert with long 5.
Caseback is original, correctly stamped 5513 and VI.67 inside.
The watch comes on unworn vintage leather strap.
No box or papers. No documented service history. Watch winds smoothly and runs well.
