1967 Rolex Submariner 5513 Meters First w/ Ghost Bezel

Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner in steel

5513 reference

1.6 mil serial number circa 1967 production.

Excellent vintage condition case with thick lugs that still show original chamfers. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible. Crown it triple lock. 

Dial is original, matte Meters First with nice patina on plots and matching tritium hands. There is some tritium loss on the hour hand. There is some dark areas on the dial appears to be residue from oil/lubricant perhaps from previous service. The watch still look great in person and on your wrist, please consider the fact that you are looking at macro pictures and this is done to fully disclose all details.

Bezel insert is period-correct “Long 5” with gray “ghost” fading from age. 

Caseback is original, it is stamped 5513 and II.67 inside. 

Bracelet is a Rolex 9315 with folded links. Nice condition with light stretch, 11 links, patented stamped diver’s extension, 380 ends, B date code. 

No box or papers. No documented service history.
