1967 Rolex Submariner ref. 5513 “Meters First Matte Dial”

1.64 mil serial number circa 1967 production

Very good vintage condition case with thick lugs and crown guards. The numbers are fully legible. The factory chamfers are still evident, though I wouldn’t call this watch watch unpolished.

Dial is original, Meters First with very nice cream patina. Matching original hands. No relume, no refinish.

Original Long 5 insert with a couple scratches.

Caseback is original, stamped 5513 and ll.67 inside.

The bracelet is an original Rolex 7206 rivet with 12 links, ’68 date on clasp, 80 ends.

No box or papers. No documented service history. The watch winds and runs, showing +5 seconds on timegrapher with ~250 amplitude.
