Up for grabs is an Omega Seamaster 300
ref. 166.024 with date
272104XX serial number circa 1968 production
Excellent vintage condition case with sharp and defined case. Clearly unpolished.
Dial is original, tritium, with nice yellow patina. Hands are original, no relume and no refinish.
Bezel is original, tritium, MK5. No cracks or damage.
Caseback is original, stamped 166.024-67 inside. The watch still has its original wax over the engraving so its perfectly preserved.
Bracelet is original Omega 1039 with 516 end-links and dated ’69, which is period correct. Bracelet fits about a 7.75″ wrist. All spring loaded links are intact. The clasp is still sticky.
Crystal is original Omega hesalite with logo in center. All scartches and marks you see are on the crystal only. The dial is damage-free.
The watch has probably never been serviced before as you can see how dried and flat the gasket is. There are no service marks inside the caseback.
A rare occasion for a “Fresh to market” and well preserved piece these days.
