Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Pre-Moon Transitional

145.022-68 reference with DON bezel, applied logo dial, 1039 bracelet and cal. 861 movement. 

273220XX serial number sold in November 1969

Superb vintage condition case is unpolished with very sharp lugs and original finish. No corrosion or pitting. No major dings or dents. Original pushers and skinny logo winding crown. 

Dial is flawless applied logo with yellow patina on plots and hands. 

Bezel is DON and has faded to a grayish hue. 

Bracelet is original Omega 1039 flat link with all of its links (some are removed, but are included), correct 516 ends, and 2.69 date code on clasp. The bracelet also appears unpolished. 

Caseback is in excellent condition, no major scratches or wear. Inside is correctly stamped 145.022-68

Original hesalite crystal with Omega logo in center. 

Watch comes with Omega box with original outer sleeve. Sleeve has 145.022 written on it, operating manual printed in ’69, original and matching Omega hangtag with printed matching serial number to the watch, and a sales receipt from November 2, 1969 for the amount of $99 

Watch runs, winds smoothly and chrono runs and resets. No documented service history.
