1968 Rolex Cosmograph Daytona ref. 6239 “Black Dial, Blue Daytona”

Up for grabs is a Rolex Daytona in steel

Reference 6239 with steel bezel and pump pushers

1.95 serial circa 1968 production

Excellent vintage condition case without corrosion, pitting, or major dings/dents. Thick and even lugs. Clear numbers.

Dial is original, black with blue “Daytona” print. No relume, no refinish. Some blemishes can be seen in close-up pictures. Original hands.

Original bezel.

Rolex 7205 rivet bracelet with “71” correct ends and 12 links. No date on clasp, which indicates 1973-1974 production of bracelet. Normal for these watches to have younger bracelet from new, especially on Daytonas.

Caseback is original, stamped 6239 inside.

Cal. 722 Rolex movement is in running condition with chrono running fine.

No box or papers.
