1968 Rolex DateJust ref. 1601 “Blue Buckley Dial”

Up for grabs is a Rolex DateJust in steel and gold

1.76 mil serial number circa early 1968 production

Excellent vintage condition case without corrosion or pitting and with clear numbers. Even and sharp lugs.

Original blue “Buckley” dial. Nice patina on plots and hands. Some plots have flaking of the lume.

Original Rolex 6251H Jubilee bracelet with 55 ends, 1968 dated clasp. Someone also inscribed by hand the case serial number on clasp, so I believe this bracelet was also born with this watch and not added later.

Original caseback is stamped 1601 and dated 68 inside.
