1968 Rolex GMT-Master ref. 1675 “MK1 Long E, Box & Papers”

Up for grabs is a Rolex GMT-Master in steel

2.0 mil serial number circa 1968 production

Excellent vintage condition case with thick lugs and crown guards. Clear numbers. The case has been polished by LA Watchworks prior to sale.

Dial is original, matte MK1 with Long E in excellent condition. Light cream patina. Hands are tritium slightly lighter in patina. No relume, no refinish.

Very attractive insert with pink tone, but I wouldn’t call it fuschia.

Original caseback with correct stamps inside and dated ’68.

Bracelet is a later Rolex 78360 with 580 ends.

Watch comes very complete with its original boxes. Outer box has correct 1675 sticker and original price tag from Marine Corps Exchange. Also included is the GMT master card, the punched guarantee booklet with date of purchase, original punched COSC certificate and original sticker on wallet with serial number.
