Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Professional Pre-Moon
145.022-69 reference
296021XX serial number circa 1969
Excellent vintage condition case is unpolished. Clearly original finish on side and sharp edges. Original pushers and crown.
Dial is original, step with nice patina on plots and hands. There is some partial lume loss on plots, but dial itself is damage free. There is a shade of brown that can be seen outside, but its not too obvious “chocolate” brown
The hands show age and patina on paint and luminous, but appears to have a “short” minute hand and therefore replaced at some point from another watch.
Bezel is original and correct DON which has faded to a purple hue.
Caseback is original and unpolished with clear Hippocampus. There is also what appears to be someone’s social security number or another identification number engraved on outer edge. Inside is correctly stamped 145.022-69
Watch comes on unworn vintage leather strap with steel buckle.
Omega hesalite crystal with logo in center.
No box or papers. No documented service history. There appears to only be one service mark inside the caseback. The watch runs, winds, and chrono runs, stops and resets. Watch currently runs at about +7 seconds per day.
