Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Professional
145.022-69 reference
305827XX serial number circa 1969 production
Excellent vintage condition case without any major dings or dents. Unpolished case with original factory finishes. No corrosion or pitting.
Dial is original, step, in superb condition without any marks or damage. Lume is fully intact with very attractive patina throughout. Original tritium hands without any cracking in lume and matching patina.
Bezel is original DON in 97% mint condition. There is a tiny dent on metal part between 130 and 120, but otherwise no scratches, no paint loss, no dings or dents.
Caseback is original, nice and crisp hippocampus on outside, stamped 145.022-69 inside. A couple small tool marks/scratches, but otherwise very nice and unpolished.
The movement is very clean, there are no service marks on inside of caseback and all screws on movement appear to be like new, no tool marks. I have purchased this watch from a gentleman who has owned it in private collection since the 1990’s and it sat in safe most of that time.
Watch comes on unworn vintage leather strap with Omega steel buckle.
No box or papers. No documented service history. The chrono runs, stops, and resets. The watch winds smoothly, runs at about -15 seconds per day.
