Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Pre-Moon
145.022-69 reference caliber 861
296028XX serial number circa 1969 production
Excellent vintage condition case shows signs of wear and age, but appears to be unpolished with sharp edges and defined lugs. No corrosion or pitting.
Dial is original, step, has aged to an attractive chocolate brown color with yellow patina on plots. Hands are original, tritium with dark patina.
Caseback is original with nice and clear outer engraving. Inside is stamped 145.02-69. The caseback still original red wax seal remaining.
Original DON bezel has faded to a “ghost gray” color and shows signs of wear and age.
Watch comes on unworn vintage leather strap with oem Omega steel buckle.
No box or papers. No docuemented history. Chrono runs, stops, and resets.
