Very good vintage condition case with no major dings or dents. Case has been polished before and show clear signs of wear. Serial number is fully intact and clearly visible, reference number has some bracelet wear, but still mostly legible. No corrosion or pitting.
Dial is original, matte, with dark cream patina on plots and matching tritium hands. Original hands have typical oxidation as seen in macro pictures. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Bezel insert is original, fat font Root Beer with nice faded throughout.
Caseback is original, stamped 1675 and dated ’70
Bracelet is a Rolex 7836 in steel and 14kt yellow gold. There are 12 links total, 380 ends, ’71 date code, 14 stamp on clasp and first link.
No box or papers. No documented service history. Watch winds and runs, but may require a service if you are expecting COSC timekeeping results.
