1970 Rolex GMT-Master ref. 1675 “Root Beer, Oyster Bracelet”

Up for grabs is a Rolex GMT-Master

Reference 1675 in steel and 14kt yellow gold. So-called “Root Beer”

2.8 mil serial number circa 1970 production

Excellent vintage condition case retains very thick lugs and crown guards. Original chamfers are still clearly present. Clear number between the lugs.

Dial is very attractive with nice patina on hands and plots. There is even “aging” on the dial as well as couple marks.

Original caseback is stamped 1675 and dated ’70.

Nice colors on root beer insert.

Bracelet is a Rolex 7836 folded link, with correct ’72 date stamp, 12 links, 258 ends.

no box or papers. Previous owner has advised that this watch recently was serviced, though I do not have a receipt to include with it.
