1970 Rolex Submariner ref. 1680 “Red MK4 Dial, Cream Patina”

Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner in steel

2.9 mil serial number circa late 1970 production

Excellent vintage condition case with sharp and thick lugs and crown guards. Clear and legible numbers between the lugs.

Dial is an excellent MK4 variation, correct for the serial number range. Very nice cream patina on plots and hands. No relume, no refinish, no chipping.

Caseback is original, stamped 1680 and dated IV.70 inside.

Bezel insert is from the 80’s with fat fonts and tritium pearl.

Watch comes on unworn leather strap and steel buckle.
