Up for grabs is a Rolex Explorer 2
1655 reference
2.7 mil serial number circa 1971 production
Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs. The original chamfers still appear to show up on the lugs. Serial and reference numbers are fully intact and clearly visible. No corrosion or pitting.
Dial is original and correct MK1 without damage. Light patina. Hands are original with faded Orange Hand and original straight Seconds hand. Date disk is original with open 6’s and 9’s.
Correct and original MK1 bezel in nice condition.
Caseback is original, stamped 1655 and II.71
Bracelet is a Rolex 7836 folded link in very tight condition. It is a service replacement as indicated on clasp with “S DT”, so service from 2002.
No box or papers. No documented service history.
