1971 Rolex Submariner 5513 “Vivid Yellow Patina”

Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner No-Date

5513 reference

3.4 mil serial number circa late 1971 production

Excellent vintage condition case with very thick lugs and crown guards. Original chamfers are still intact. No corrosion or pitting. Serial and reference numbers are fully legible.

Dial is original, “non-serif” with beautiful vivid yellow patina on all plots and hands. No damage, no chips, no relume. The hands are original, tritium.

Bezel insert is period correct with nice fat fonts. The bezel “pearl” has been replaced with luminova at some point.

Caseback is original, it is stamped 5513 and IV.71 inside.

Bracelet is a Rolex 9315 with 10 links, diver’s extension, no date code, 380 ends.

No box or papers. Crystal appears original, domed.
