1971 Rolex Submariner No-Date ref. 5512 “4-line Serif Dial”

Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner No-Date

Reference 5512 with Cal. 1570 COSC movement and 4-line dial

3.4 mil serial number circa late 1971 production as confirmed by caseback date stamp.

Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs and crown guards. Clear numbers between the lugs. No corrosion or pitting.

Dial is original, matte serif font with nice cream patina on plots and hands. No tool marks, drags, or chips.

NIce original fat font bezel insert with “ghost” gray fade.

Caseback is original, stamped 5513 and dated ’71 inside.

The bracelet is newer Rolex 93150 with DE date code, 580 ends.

No box or papers. The watch has had service in beginning of 2022 by True Patina, but the receipt has been lost. I am certain they have it on file and can provide details if needed.
