Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner No-Date
5513 reference
3.5 mil serial number circa late 1971 production
Excellent vintage condition case with very thick lugs and crown guards. Original chamfers are still intact. No corrosion or pitting. Serial and reference numbers are fully visible.
Dial is original, “non-serif” with beautiful patina on all plots and hands. No chips or scratches. No relume or refinish. Hands are original, tritium and matching.
Bezel insert is period correct with nice fat font and slight, but attractive, fade.
Caseback is original, it is stamped 5513 and IV.71 inside. There is only a single service mark inside, appears to have been done in year 2000. Case serial number was also inscribed inside.
The crystal is original high dome.
No box or papers.
